Samantha Reiter, MD.
Dr. Samantha Reiter was born and raised in Delaware, the youngest of three children. She did accounting and processing work for her father’s steel sales company through her teenage years, and went on to the University of Delaware to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1990. She then decided to follow her heart and pursue an education in the sciences, working part-time at a chemical senses lab while completing a post-Baccalaureate Pre-Med program at the University of Pennsylvania. She then earned her medical degree at MCP/Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia in 2000.
She fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and completed her residency training at Virginia Mason Medical Center in 2003. She is board certified in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Reiter joined Sequim Medical Associates in 2005 and raised her daughter Maya here on the Olympic Peninsula.
She is an animal lover who enjoys reading, cooking, meditation, yoga, snowboarding, diving, kayaking and traveling.
Dr. Reiter tries to understand her patients’ concerns and priorities in order to help them achieve their personal goals. She believes that medicine is the art of applying science to a unique individual while accepting that both are always evolving.
Dr. Reiter’s practice is currently closed to new patients.
